<![CDATA[ Christianbody.net - Instructions]]>Tue, 31 Mar 2026 01:32:29 -0600Weebly<![CDATA[Leaving A Legacy]]>Mon, 30 May 2016 22:47:59 GMThttp://www.christianbody.net/instructions/leaving-a-legacy​A legacy is something that is passed down from one generation to the next.  Most of us hope that we are leaving our children and grandchildren a positive legacy that may guide and bless them throughout their lives.  I came to the shocking conclusion that my children had never heard the full story of God's salvation, healing and deliverance in the lives of Edith and myself.  They had heard parts, and even lived through some of the events, but had never heard "the story."  And if "the story" is never told to them, they may never know how Jesus became real to us and moved our lives these last 35 years or so.

Many people see the need for Christians to do something to "change the world," but don't know what to do.  We believe that ONE way is to help folks record and place "their story" into a variety of online locations, such as YouTube, Facebook, DropBox, One Drive, etc., where these stories can be accessed for generations.  Sooo... a legacy for future generations of family and friends, _and_ a testimony of Jesus' life to hundreds or thousands of people all over the world.  Pretty good deal!  So how do we start?
​VISION
Our vision is to use every tool available to tell the world that Jesus is alive and engaged in the daily lives of His people.  The internet is the source of much evil, but is essentially a tool which can be used for good OR evil.  Here's a short video testimony from a friend in Roswell about how God used it for good...

YOUR PART
If you wish to participate in this ministry, here are some things that you can do:

1. Become familiar with our website.  Share the links, posts, newsletter, testimonies, etc. with your online family and  friends.  Forward this email to others.  We now have a Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/christianbodynet, and a YouTube page at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCeRknmQWmb2Cvk-nvzqmy1w.   Our search engine connects to both.
2. Post comments on various news articles, blogs and websites and include our site addresses.
3. Write or record "Your Story" and allow us to post it into our networks.  We can help with this and can do audio and video recordings remotely.  If you're not comfortable posting it, no problem... 
4.  Read/listen/watch our training media.  You can't minister to people if you don't speak their language.  Technology is the language of the younger generations, so, if we want to communicate with them, we must have at least SOME skills.
5. Join our live online training sessions to learn to use the tools and become proficient at working online.
6. Join us as a Moderator (screens media that is submitted) or other Role.  Or define a service you are comfortable with and we'll help you to fulfill it.

]]><![CDATA[My Story Overview]]>Sat, 13 Feb 2016 03:14:24 GMThttp://www.christianbody.net/instructions/my-story-overview​The world is overwhelmed with bad news.  There is death, destruction and despair in every newscast.  Terrorist groups are bombarding the internet with hundreds of thousands of propaganda messages daily, indoctrinating, spreading influence, and recruiting new converts.  We believe it’s time for the Body of Christ to use the same technologies to bombard the airwaves with personal messages of faith, hope and goodwill.  Not just from professional speakers, teachers and musicians, but from real people who have experienced blessing, salvation, healing, etc., and are willing to share that experience with others.  Click Read More to continue...
​1 Cor. 14:26  What is it then, brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done to edification.
This scripture is the only window into what a New Testament church meeting looked like.  It sounds like EACH person had gifting and revelation within to share with the body. 
In the interest of encouraging folks to walk in the fullness of their gifts and callings, we are offering a number of resources and tools which can be used by anyone to build the kingdom of God as they share events, insights, scriptures, songs, testimonies, etc. through modern technology.
RECORDED AUDIO AND VIDEO--- A variety of media programming emphasizing real life music, testimonies, conversations and encounters using YouTube, internet radio and other outlets.
VIDEO AND AUDIO STREAMING EVENTS--- Same as above but live streaming with interactive (text chat, phone bridge, etc.) participation.  Saved to YouTube, Podcasts, etc.
EVENTLOG--- Consists of an online input form to share community events and an online search page to seek out local events and information.
CONVERSATIONS--- Interviews and conversations with regular Christian people about real issues and insights.
TESTIMONIES--- Personal testimonies recorded and accessible to all through an internet search engine.  You can record your testimony on your smart phone and save it to our database.  It’s then available to everyone 24/7.
SCRIPTURE--- Favorite scriptures and comments (audio or video or document) by folks who have experienced the revelation of these scriptures and wish to share with others.
TRAINING--- All of these varied communication processes depend on technology, so we offer online (and local where feasible) training to whomever would like to participate.
We’re calling on the only army that can prevail against the onslaught of the enemy… the ARMY of GOD.  Revelation 12 says “they overcame him (Satan) by the blood of the lamb, the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto death.”  The blood of the Lamb (Jesus) is a historic fact… it HAS ALREADY BEEN shed for the salvation of all who believe.  The testimony of the believers is the account of the work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers.  It’s real, it’s powerful, it’s transformational, it’s more than enough.  Join with us as we stand together with the testimony of Jesus.
 
Our hope is that many in the body of Christ will be stirred to share their Christian life with others and thereby offer an alternative to the testimonies of death and despair.  And that they will encourage friends and family to become a part of the network. 
HOW DOES THE CHRISTIANBODY.NET SYSTEM WORK?
Basically, you (or we) record these testimonies, conversations, scriptures, etc. as audio or video and save them to online storage facilities (YouTube, DropBox, Box.com, Google, etc.)  We (you) then go to the Christianbody.net website and enter the information and the online link and it is then available to anyone who searches on our site or other websites that participate.  You can also link to your own blog, website, Facebook, Twitter, etc. if you have testimonies or other material to share.  We take you through the learning process.
 
SO HOW DO WE START?
One of the most powerful tools for modern communication is the smart phone.  It is easy to record both voice and video and save it to YouTube or other places.  For audio, we suggest downloading the Hi-Q MP3 Recorder app from the app store and we’ll help you set it up.  When you finish recording, name it and save it… that’s it.  Our application accesses it on the web and directs folks to it.  Of course you can use conventional recorder or video cameras, save it to computer or cloud and then put the link into our search engine.  We are also training others to interview and record testimonies live when possible.
TRAINING
We are preparing a series of training resources to quickly train up an army of testifiers and facilitators that can cover every nation and tongue.  Just let us know of your interest and we’ll get you started.  Some pastors and leaders in churches and home groups are already committing to encourage their groups in this ministry, and several languages are included.
Above all, please pray diligently that this will go forward according to God’s plan and bring glory to Him alone.  We have already encountered some spiritual resistance, but have also been totally amazed by the support that is coming forth.  Also please consider being a part of this ministry by testifying, being interviewed, and/or helping others to do the same.

  1. ​Record audio or video with your smart phone (we'll show you how) and save it to YouTube (or other cloud based servers.)  Then post the link (and other info) into our online form... that's it!  Written testimonies (etc.) are similar.  Or, save your document (pdf is usually best) to the cloud and post the link to our form.  Again, contact one of us and we'll take you through the process step by step.  Once you've learned to do it, you will be able to help others enter their testimonie
  2. Attend one of our local or online training sessions, where we will take you through the details and then record those who wish to participate.  Dates will be on our Calendar page.
  3. Of course you can use conventional cameras and recorders as well.  Upload to your computer (unless you can stream directly to file), place on cloud storage and put the link into our data input form.
  4. Contact us and we can set up a phone or video conference with you where we'll record Your Story and take care of the details.

​for help.]]><![CDATA[Roles Available---Join The Team]]>Mon, 01 Feb 2016 19:48:43 GMThttp://www.christianbody.net/instructions/roles-neededThe Christianbody.net vision is bigger than a few individuals.  It requires an entire community of folks who can stand together as one and demonstrate the life of the Holy Spirit in whatever they are doing.  We will likely see other roles as we move forward, but here are a few to start with.  Many of you will fill multiple roles as the Lord leads.

PRAY-ERS--- The people who pray for the message, the people involved, the mechanics of the outreach, and the souls that will be reached as we work together.  BTW, prayer is for ALL of us!

SUBMITTERS--- These are the precious saints who volunteer their stories for witness and edification.  They come from all backgrounds, cultures and languages.
​
​MODERATORS--- Receive the input emails and then pray, discern and confirm or reject along with other Moderators in the community.  They communicate with submitters if needed, and then enter the stories into the database.  May be an opportunity to pray with and for one another and submitters.  Click "Read More" to continue.
PRESENTERS--- Meet with individuals, groups and churches to present the vision of Jesus Christ working in the witness of His people.  Conduct training seminars.  Should be ready to preach/ teach scriptural overview.

​INTERVIEWERS--- Help folks prepare and present their testimonies.  Conduct conversations (interviews) instead of cold recordings if needed.

​TECHNICIANS--- Help with online and other technical functions.  Update programming.  Train non-techies. 

​PERSONAL MINISTERS--- Pray with folks with needs.  Be available to visit with people who contact us.  Be ministers of the Word and the Spirit.

]]><![CDATA[Word Bytes (Scripture)]]>Mon, 01 Feb 2016 13:44:12 GMThttp://www.christianbody.net/instructions/word-bytes-scriptureWord Bytes is another form of YOUR personal testimony.  It has to do with scripture that has personal meaning to you and includes your testimony about that scripture.  In other words, this is about scripture that the Holy Spirit places in your path and stirs, inspires, convicts, edifies, etc.  Remember, it's YOUR STORY of God's love and power formed around a scripture revelation. 

​We recommend keeping this testimony to 5 minutes or less.  If you have more to say and have a blog, website, Facebook, Twitter, etc., then place the link in our form under WEB.  If folks want more of your testimony, teaching, etc., they can click on your link.

MY STORY (Testimonies)
​These are YOUR personal testimony's.  They describe times and places in your life where God has revealed Himself to you.  They can tell of your salvation, healings, deliverance, miracles, times God has helped you through hardships... any thing that is relevant to your walk with Him.  Your story can be recorded as audio, video, or text and can be saved to a variety of online locations (such as DropBox, Box.com, Drive, YouTube, Cloud, Google+, etc.)  Don't worry, we can help you if this sounds like a foreign language.  If you are entering long testimonies, we recommend that you do a short version, less than 5 minutes (like a movie trailer), and then do the full length version (up to 15 minutes.) 

​Also, you can do it in different formats if you wish.  For example,  you might enter your story in audio AND video AND text format.  Or you might submit it in multiple languages.  It's all up to you.]]><![CDATA[How To Use the Christianbody Search Window]]>Sun, 31 Jan 2016 17:53:16 GMThttp://www.christianbody.net/instructions/how-to-use-the-christianbody-search-windowChristianbody Search is a service that organizes Christian media entries that are located around the web on various cloud storage locations, websites, blogs, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc.  Any media with an internet address that is entered into our system can be accessed instantly.
The Search Window displays the URL’s (internet addresses) of various media (audio, video, text) that is entered into our system.  The entry at the top of the window is the last input that was entered, so as you scroll down, you see entries in order of entry.  Once you find an entry that interests you, just click the “Text, Audio or Video” in the Link column.  It will take you to the place that the media resides (it’s URL or internet address) where you can listen to the audio, view the video, or read the text.
Some of the entries may include the submitters email or website, Facebook, etc., so you may check out other materials that may be available from them or contact them if you wish.
TO SEARCH
  1. ​Click on the "Filters" box at the top left.  You will see the lists of Subjects and Categories from which you can select one or more items for your search.
  2. Click on the "Search" link at the top left of the window.  Two rows of search boxes will appear over each column header name (ie. Name, Description, Date, etc.)  Top row can select a variety of search operators (such as Contains, Does Not Contain, etc.)  Usually “Contains” is the most used, so enter your search term or terms into the appropriate bottom box(s) and click the Search button.  That’s it.  If you wish to remove the search and return to the default  sort, click Cancel.
