PT2 Well then, Should We Keep On Sinning so that God can show us more and more Kindness and Forgiveness? Of Course Not! Since we have Died To Sin, How Can We Continue To Live In It? Or have you forgotten that when we Became Christians We Were Baptized To Become One With Christ Jesus, We Died With Him? For We Died And Were Buried With Christ By Baptism. And just as Christ Was Raised From The Dead By The Glorious Power Of The Father, Now We Also May Live New Lives. Romans 6:1-4 Lesson here: There must have been a big misunderstanding in Apostle's Paul's day, just as it is in ours. Christians want the blessings of God without Honoring Him with Loyalty in their Relationship With Him. "So I Advise You To Live According To Your New Life In The Holy Spirit. Then You Won't Be Doing What Your Sinful Nature Craves. The Old Sinful Nature Loves To Do Evil, which is just Opposite From What The Holy Spirit Wants. And The Spirit Gives Us Desires That Are Opposite From What The Sinful Nature Desires. These Two Forces Are Continually Fighting Each Other, And Our Choices Are Never Free From This Conflict. But if when you are Directed By The Holy Spirit, You Are No Longer Subject To The Law." Galatians 5:16-18 We must understand, getting saved Does Not Stop Us From Sinning, It Gives Us The Power To Choose Not To Sin! "I know I Am Rotten Through and Through so far as My Own Sinful Nature Is Concerned. No matter which way I turn, I Can't Make Myself Do Right. I Want To, But I Can't. When I want to do Good, I Don't. And when I Try Not To Do Wrong, I Do It Anyway. But if I am doing what I Don't Want To Do, I am not really the one doing it; The Sin Within Me Is Doing It. Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who Will Free Me From This Life That Is Dominated By Sin? Thank God! The Answer Is In Jesus Christ Our Lord. So you see how it is in my mind I really want to Obey God's law, but because of my sinful nature I am a slave to sin." Romans 7:18-20, 24-25 Christ Is Our Only Hope!
