The Premise

The Premise

1. We are a community of people who recognize that we each have problems and issues, but that we can move beyone them into healing and functional Christianity.
2. We aren't here to FIX one another, nor are we able to do so. 
3. What is spoken in these meetings stays here.  We are learning to trust and be trusted.
4. We recognize that ACTING RIGHT is not enough---we must be TRANSFORMED in order to be free.
5. We are tired of the hypocrisy of religion and shame based programs and long for a family that loves us where we are, not where we might someday be.
6. We are willing to give up unrealistic expections of ourselves and others and allow God to show us who and what we are.
7. Denial is not faith---pretending that everything is ok when it is not is DENIAL.  Owning the reality is a step toward wholeness. 
8. As we become honest with God, ourselves and others, acknowledging our issues, weaknesses, and fears and bringing them into the light, we find that the accuser of the brethren no longer can use those issues to humiliate and defeat us.
9. Our purpose is not only to look honestly at the problems, but to become the solution as we are healed, delivered and assembled by the Holy Spirit into the functional Body of Christ.
10. Even though we meet together, we understand that our purpose is not JUST to have meetings, but to learn to come together in Spirit and in Truth as a family of believers.
