Proverbs 29 declares that "My people perish for lack of vision." The vision spoken of is the revelation of God and His purposes. It's hard to act out our role as "the church" unless we have some understanding of what His vision is for "the church." Remember Gen. 1:26,27 where God is saying "Let us make man in our image and in our likeness?" God created Adam in His image and we could extrapolate that one of the devils greatest goals is to tarnish or diminish God's image (in His people.) No wonder the people of God have suffered so much confusion, strife and disunity as the master of deception has used every tool at his disposal to divide and conquer.
However, we see a body which is whole, fruitful and full of the glory of God prophesied as the church moves into the last days. The bride of Christ is being revealed! I believe that the end times church is built entirely around Jesus. It is NOT something that man has established and what man HAS established will be destroyed as the glory of the Lord is revealed. Our best efforts are NOT sufficient to bring in the fullness of God, and are not able to adequately represent HIM to the world. We must return to the only standard that releases HIS life... and it is the presence of Jesus HIMSELF by the Holy Spirit that is that that standard. I propose that we all (anyone called to do so) lay aside everything that we think we know about HIS church and ministries, and seek diligently HIS heart, wisdom, understanding and vision for HIS ENDTIME CHURCH. And that we come together over the Labor Day Weekend to seek and share in community any fresh revelation that the Lord reveals. This is not about some new principle or method to "build His church." This is about getting HIS heart and vision to a degree that the demonstration of HIS life can come forth. We have nearly two months to prepare our hearts and minds for this. My experience is that anytime I (we) have sought God's mind and lived in prayer for a time, that God richly blesses with HIS revelation. Please prayerfully consider joining with us in this endeavor. A number of you have been praying for the Labor Day meeting and have been getting some insights, some of which I've posted as Comments to this post.
