The Face of The End Times Church (email)

Proverbs 29 declares that "My people perish for lack of vision."  The vision spoken of is the revelation of God and His purposes.   It's hard to act out our role as "the church" unless we have some understanding of what His vision is for "the church."  Remember Gen. 1:26,27 where God is saying "Let us make man in our image and in our likeness?"  God created Adam in His image and we could extrapolate that one of the devils greatest goals is to tarnish or diminish God's image (in His people.)   No wonder the people of God have suffered so much confusion, strife and disunity as the master of deception has used every tool at his disposal to divide and conquer.
However, we see a body which is whole, fruitful and full of the glory of God prophesied as the church moves into the last days.  The bride of Christ is being revealed!

I believe that the end times church is built entirely around Jesus.  It is NOT something that man has established and what man HAS established will be destroyed as the glory of the Lord is revealed.  Our best efforts are NOT sufficient to bring in the fullness of God, and are not able to adequately represent HIM to the world.  We must return to the only standard that releases HIS life... and it is the presence of Jesus HIMSELF by the Holy Spirit that is that that standard.

I propose that we all (anyone called to do so) lay aside everything that we think we know about HIS church and ministries, and seek diligently HIS heart, wisdom, understanding and vision for HIS ENDTIME CHURCH.  And that we come together over the Labor Day Weekend to seek and share in community any fresh revelation that the Lord reveals.  This is not about some new principle or method to "build His church."  This is about getting HIS heart and vision to a degree that the demonstration of HIS life can come forth.  We have nearly two months to prepare our hearts and minds for this.  My experience is that anytime I (we) have sought God's mind and lived in prayer for a time, that God richly blesses with HIS revelation.  Please prayerfully consider joining with us in this endeavor.

A number of you have been praying for the Labor Day meeting and have been getting some insights, some of which I've posted as Comments to this post.  Just click on one of the Comments links to read through them.

Blessings, Grover

Just a note to add that we will likely start the Labor Day meeting a couple of days early for those who wish to come together in prayer for the meeting. Blessings, Grover

Here's a recent word from Barbara that I thought was relevant... Grover

Tall Pines:
During intercessory prayer time at church this is what I saw:
Pine trees. Tall pine trees. Pine trees so tall that it was difficult to get a clear view of the sky from the forest floor.
The projects that people are working on are so tall it’s hard to see clearly.
Many people, many projects. So many projects that it looks like a forest.
This picture would be normally be a happy thing except that while blocking a view of the sky; the forest also runs right up against a rock mountain ridge.
I waited to see if a shortcut through the mountain range would open up. I did not see a shortcut open up. All the projects/trees have disguised the fact that we have run up against a Holy impasse. The mountain range is God’s.
It appears that the only to keep going/growing is to climb up the rock face. It will be arduous, but life giving; muscle strengthening and muscle building.
I could see a climber to my left in a yellow shirt, near the top of the mountain ridge. Next, I saw ropes attached to the ledge and hanging all the way down to the bottom of the mountain range. There were enough ropes for everyone.
If we choose not to go, but stay in the pine trees where everyone is comfortable and busy; the trees will eventually dry up, become tinder, brown, brittle, and go away. When the forest is dead we will be too weak to climb.
An angel has been assigned to each rope to help every person strap on and climb.
Walking at a right angle to the hill may seem awkward at first until muscles develop.
Fellowship, laughter, and stories are sure to set in as people get stronger and conditioned to their circumstances and the climb itself.
Even though people are climbing, the Lord’s love will be evident and bountiful. People will watch for each other so no one slips off the rock face.
Temple:
A summary of the steps in the building of the temple. - Solomon follows the plans that David draws up for the temple. - Solomon and the rest of the Israelites install the Ark of the Covenant in a proper manner in its proper place. - The glory of God in the form of a cloud filled the temple so densely that the priests left because they could no longer perform their duties. - Solomon blesses the people who are present and prays. - A bolt of lightning or fire from heaven (Message vs. NIV translations) consumes the offerings and sacrifices. - The priests could not enter the temple because the glory of God “so filled the temple.” - All of Israel fell to their knees with their faces to the ground, worshipped and gave thanks to God. - God speaks to Solomon privately. A portion of those words are as follows: “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be opened and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.” 2chr 7:14
Thoughts:
An act of obedience followed by respect for the things of God creates a place in which the glory of God can fill. Blessings naturally spring from the lips of people who experience this fire. It is hard to stand in the presence of the real, living God so falling to one’s knees in worship and thankfulness seems the most natural thing to do. In time God speaks specifically to us about what is on His heart.

Here's another recent word that I wanted to include:

A recent word from a trusted brother:
The Lord wanted me to share this Word with you this morning. Lev. 9:22-24, 10:1-3. “The ecclesia has entered into a new season with the Lord. I shall have a true representation of Me in the earth. In times past I winked at man’s endeavors to please Me, and the end resulted in fleshly traditions. No more. I am calling out a people that have the desire to lease Me and because of that desire that I have placed within them, I shall purify them and they shall not be led by their own spirit, thinking their own thoughts how things need to be accomplished, but they will have a disciplined heart, keeping their Heart and Mind trained on My Word to think My thoughts. Their desire to be lead by My Spirit will be the only thing that consumes them, that is their true mission in life.
No more strange fire in My Body. For the works of carnal man is like smoke in My nostrils and I will no tolerate man’s attempt to please me, which is the sin of presumption. I will blow away the smoke and the work of carnal man, for I will shake, shake, shake until all that is left is the Work I sanctioned. You shall see ministries fall by the way side because of the mixture that is in them. I am purifying with fire to burn up the dross/flesh.
I will have a clear, purified Bride before I return, having eyes only for Me. These will be the ones that will demonstrate My power and reveal My will on the earth!”

One more for your prayer and consideration:

I asked Edith what she was considering about the end times church. She said that much of our “church” business and life actually grieve the Holy Spirit. Here are a couple of examples: Some want God to bless their lives or ministry, but only want the Holy Spirit for help, not to have a servant relationship with Him. Some take the glory for themselves when the Holy Spirit does something which should glorify the Father or the Son. Some joke and make light (take the Lord’s name in vain) about gifts and manifestations of the Holy Spirit. To many, the presence and gifts of the Holy Spirit are just information to be passed around. Some only want the gifts that THEY are comfortable with, instead of relying on God’s sovereign will to “give as He pleases.”
The Holy Spirit is a PERSON…the very presence of God on the earth. Hi is HOLY!!! He is GOD!!! His gifts are the tools given to us so that we can “do the things we see our Father doing.” Grieving the Holy Spirit is a serious issue that keeps us from the fullness of His life. The end times church will give the Holy Spirit the place and gravity that He deserves and will rely entirely on His life, knowledge, wisdom, care, loving- kindness, revelation, etc. He is ALL in ALL…

Spent some time this morning on this subject. In Exodus 20, we have the revealing of the 10 Commandments as Moses brought the stone tablets down from the mountain. I was thinking about the "You shall not take the Lord's name in vain" one and remembering that the words literally stated that we were not to take God's name lightly, or to diminish it in any way. Looking forward into the New Testament, we see some similarity in the Paul's Eph. 4 statement that we were not to grieve the Holy Spirit, or some of the references to "blaspheming the Holy Spirit."

There is a connotation in both of these phrases that relates to disrespect, diminishing, disturbing, mocking, making sorrowful, etc.
Since the Holy Spirit is actually "God on the earth," I believe this connection is VERY important to God and that we would do well to take it very seriously.

It breaks our hearts (Edith and I) when we hear believers make fun of spiritual gifts or pick and choose which they like and dislike. It seems totally arrogant to us that WE might act like God and pick and choose which of the precious gifts of God that we prefer and which we are uncomfortable with, as if OUR opinion counts in God's awesome kingdom. I wonder if this attitude actually grieves the heart of the Holy Spirit as HE is trying to reveal the fullness of Jesus in the earth and in God's people.

I know this is challenging, but I urge all to take this before the Lord in prayer and ask HIM to show the priorities of HIS Lordship over our lives. I felt that HE was VERY serious about this and we should be also.
Blessings,
Grover

We have had the opportunity of the Lord streaming us into many of the prophetic streams to be able to have discernment. Always it seems that He (Holy Spirit) would allow us to linger only for a short time, then we would be moved on to the next arena.

How are you doing with the attack from cancer?

It seems that for my part when sickness would come I know that a spirit of humility was being offered, and I could thank Him for taking me through that rough part of the walkway.

When you talked of the many misuses of the gifts of the Spirit ie: gold, feathers, and now oil this message called: PROPHETIC WORD OF THE ADULTERESS WIFE THAT CANNOT SEE OR DISCERN https://youtu.be/M2lxa2afsZc We happened to find your site on usa.life the new platform for Christians. Thank for sharing your testimony, and look forward to sharing more of ministry with all of you. Shalom, Lee

A good word from Janet:

Last year my granddaughter asked me to make her wedding dress. What an honor!
We went shopping. Chose and purchased the pattern, fabric and notions. She went off to college and I began agonizing over my project. It had to be perfect.
Many hours, days, weeks and months went into the preparation of the gown. Many sleepless nights, blood, sweat and tears shed. Measuring, cutting, sewing ...remeasuring, recutting, resewing. Take it in here, let it out there. You see, one size does not fit all. Buy more material. Rip out. Start over. Again and again. Tedious machine sewing. White on white. Slippery fabric. Then very expensive Chantilly Lace. No room for error. Hand stitching beaded lace. Every stitch crucial, if misplaced or not exact, the loss of a bead. White lace, white thread, tiny stitches, magnifying glasses so old eyes can see. Don't let it touch the floor, it might get soiled. Uh oh, pricked finger, don't let the blood get on the dress. Pressing every seam, no wrinkles. Perfect fit.
Wedding day arrives. Bride beautifully dressed in her gown. Skin glowing, hair styled, eyes shining. She is smiling and smells of a sweet fragrant aroma. She takes her grooms breath away and he sheds tears of joy.
This is my vision. We are in the preparation stage. Blood and tears are being shed. Cutting, shaping, recutting, reshaping. Sewing together. Ripping apart and resewing. Adornment added, pearls, beads and lace intricately placed. Grooming with oils and sweet perfumes. The Bride and Groom take each others breath away as we shed tears of joy at our Wedding Super.
We all don't look alike or sound alike, but we are all being perfectly fitted and placed as individuals to be the complete and perfect Bride.

A word from Mark:

Those of us who are considering the possibility of gathering in Capitan over the upcoming Labor Day weekend have been asked to consider what we have been hearing, hopefully from the Holy Spirit, concerning a vision for what the “end-time church” will resemble. I assume I have not been alone in pondering over this same thing, and especially so when considering the references to the “bride of Christ” as being “pure and spotless”. Formerly, I would experience agony and doubt when realizing that I could not picture how I would ever be considered to be in this condition. Surely, then, I would not be included in the “wedding feast” unless I got to work “cleaning up” all my faults and shortcomings. Too many leaders in the structured environment of the organized “church” interpret and teach this and use it as an opportunity to spur the sheep under their care to work harder, to continue to castigate themselves over their failure to “measure up” to some self-imposed “legalistic” standards of acceptable behavior and to be constantly seeking to “expose and repent” for their many faults. This provides a way to keep the sheep in a constant state of fear and creates a completely unnecessary doubt in their minds. This environment causes far too many Christians to sometimes question the security of their salvation as well as spurring whole denominations to adopt a “works” mentality as a necessity in a pathway to pleasing God. The result of all of this is evidenced in the increasing numbers of the population, even in the United States which is supposedly the “most Christian” nation in the world, who now profess to have no kind of “religious” affiliation, much less to claim a “born-again” relationship with Jesus Christ. In my Spirit, I have sensed the grieving of the Holy Spirit over this condition that exists in much of the Body of Christ. By opening up to hear more from the Holy Spirit I believe I have heard “good news” from the very Throne of Grace. My personal relationship with Christ began in my late 20’s when I was introduced to a saving knowledge that there was a Savior who wanted to save me from a sinful lifestyle. By His goodness I was able to “change my mind” or “repent” from that way of life and choose to become a “follower of Christ”. Alas, for many more years, I lived in a state of constantly seeking self-improvement that I felt was necessary in order to “please God”. Revivals, Holy Spirit conferences, healing services, boards and committees, running to and fro always looking for more while achieving little in the way of a lasting peace fairly well describes my Christian journey. Several years ago now, the Lord revealed to me that I had been a prisoner to the concept that “working faithfully inside organized religious settings” would somehow lead to “transforming” these structures to more of what Christ had sacrificed his very life to provide for those choosing to follow Him. Certain decisions were made within the hierarchy of the institution I had been identified with and these decisions were then adopted as official policies to be adhered to. Some of these were abdominal to me and had to have brought deep sorrow to God. I felt the Spirit release me from remaining in that environment and at the same time encourage me to begin to forge deeper relationships with those He would place me with. All I can say is, “He was, and is, faithful to keep His part of any step He prepares for us to follow.” In the ensuing years He has blessed my life with deep relationships with Brothers and Sisters from all areas of life with the only common denominator being a deep devotion on the part of all to pursuing a better understanding of who we are in Christ. With all this being said, I am now able to get back to the point of this all, attempting to relay what I feel the Holy Spirit’s revelation to me about what look the “end time church” might have. Within the immediate past, a revelation has been made to me about the measure and depth of God’s Grace and how this marvelous gift applies to me, personally, as well as to all the Saints bought and paid for by the blood of the risen Christ. So what was this revelation and what does it mean to me?
First of all, it is all about Jesus Christ and the New Covenant He sealed for all who would believe in Him, a Covenant for all eternity promising Eternal Life for all who profess Him as Lord and Savior. A promise that will not be broken and will remain unchanged. And here is where I learned in my Spirit that Grace enters in. The Old Covenant created a system based on “legalism” and all that goes with that philosophy. The New Covenant was based on the sacrifice that Christ paid for u
